ladder back chairs

Oxidized maple ladder back chairs made to match knife edge table. Shown in both two and three rung versions. I have always resisted making chairs for production, since they are incredibly labor intensive to make. But due to high demand at ICFF 2012 I decided to dive in. I very much enjoyed the process, it was very meditative churning out so many detailed parts. See some of the process photos below.

I am also offering custom chairs. If you order a set of eight or more chairs I will design a custom chair for you and send you an unfinished prototype for approval.
