Plain grained oxidized maple panels surrounded by a 3/8x2" steel frame. A 3" wide wooden platform surrounds the mattress on three sides.

Headboard overall height 48", Footboard overall height 20" to accommodate up to a 12" thick mattress. Bed rests on a 4" pedestal base. Dimension from floor to top of mattress is calculated by adding 6" to the mattress thickness.
